Welcoming Dr Shaun Evans

We're also excited to introduce our newest team member, Dr Shaun Evans, a chiropractor with a remarkable background. Shaun’s journey with chiropractic began when he was a baby with colic, receiving his first adjustment early on. As a 12-year-old, Shaun was told that scoliosis would likely lead to surgery, an inability to run, and potentially being wheelchair-bound by 30.

However, regular chiropractic care made a significant difference, allowing Shaun to defy the odds.

With a passion for sports and health, Shaun transitioned from a career in the police force to chiropractic. His experience is vast, having worked with athletes, including NRL players, QLD and AUS level cricketers, and national swimmers. But more than that, Shaun loves helping people of all ages achieve their health goals, no matter how big or small.

When he's not treating patients, Shaun shares his knowledge in a teaching capacity, most recently with CQU’s Chiropractic Masters program and previously at Macquarie University in Sydney.

Shaun’s expertise includes a wide range of techniques, such as Diversified Manual Adjusting, Drop Piece Technique, Activator, Active Release Technique (ART), Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT), Paediatric Training (Dr Genevieve Keating), and the McKenzie Method for Lumbar Conditions.

With 16 years of experience, Shaun is dedicated to finding what works best for each individual patient.

We’re excited to have Dr Shaun Evans on board and to offer our new patient special. Come in and see how Tan Chiro can help you on your health journey!
