What is Chiropractic and how can it help me?

Chiropractic care focuses on the treatment of the musculoskeletal and nervous system and its effects on one’s general wellbeing. These include but are not limited to low back pain, headaches, migraines, shoulder pain, hip pain, sciatica, knee pain or ankle pain.

The main treatment used is spinal manipulation or chiropractic adjustments to restore movement to joints that have become stiff to improve flexibility and overall body function.

Joint stiffness can be caused by traumatic events (falls, accidents) or by gradual repetitive stresses (lots of sitting, poor posture).

Adjustments to the affected joints have been shown to improve movement in the problem areas.

A range of different treatment options are available.

Different techniques work for different people. Some respond well to firm treatment, others to gentle low-force treatment. We check you out thoroughly at your first visit with us to figure out what suits you or what your preference is.
